Sierra Adventures Connects the High Sierras
To Visitors, Citizens and Businesses.
Mimi Garner created the Sierra Adventures Chamber of Commerce in 2012. It connects visitors and its small businesses to the twelve northern California and Nevada counties east of the Sierra Nevada divide covering a territory of 30,000 square miles.
Sierra Adventures helps small businesses in the region deliver their message farther and wider. Unlike local chambers, it is not limited by county boundaries because it is independently owned and operated and not tied to any local government funding.
Any business can join the Sierra Adventure Business Association and get connected to followers.
The Visitor Center in Graeagle, CA has greeted thousands of visitors traveling through the region. Visitors come from Oregon and northern California heading south to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park and others come from southern California heading north to Seattle or east from Sacramento to Reno and Salt Lake City.
Each summer visitors from Sweden, Germany, Denmark, British Columbia and elsewhere stop by and we help them take in all the major attractions in the region. Foriegners enjoy heading for Death Valley and we get them there safely.
The Sierra Adventures website is growing to meet the needs of the region and beyond. As it develops in the coming years, it will help get small businesses hooked up to its growing followers. It will become an asset to visitors using mobile devices.
